Permissions & Access
- Microphone blocked: Open browser site settings → allow mic → refresh. If still blocked, reset permissions in OS settings.
- Camera not detected: Quit other apps using the camera (Zoom, Teams), then reload the page.
- Audio muted on recording: Verify the correct input in the footer select and run the warm-up from the Performance coaching guide.
Performance & Drift
- Disable browser extensions that modify the DOM or inject overlays.
- In voice mode, keep background noise low and run the warm-up as described in the voice guide.
- Switch to timed mode if network throttling interrupts speech recognition.
Visual Issues
If the teleprompter text appears blurry or cut off, adjust font size and the hardware mounting angle. Refer to the hardware guide for reflections and glare fixes.
Script Management
Scripts auto-save to localStorage. If you need multiple versions:
- Copy the text into a document.
- Use the upcoming export/import feature (see TODO) to store JSON backups.
- Leverage the AI prompts page for alternative variations.
